ReplyDeleteYou can skype with your family and friends daily - don't give up otherwise you would be regret it. Every beginnings are hard but wait a few weeks and you will be happy there. Your host family and friends around you seem fine so I am sure you will not be bored at all.

don´t go home!! :) when I was an aupair for the first time in England I wanted to go home as well but I knew I had to finish what I started. To achieve it for myself felling good and because otherwise I would regreting it. Moreover in USA because you can be aupair there just once in your life. I was there just for summer - 3months and the last 2weeks I started to like it there and didn´t want to go home. Now I am aupair again (I was 4months in Mallorca-Alcudia as well) and there have been hard times and better times. I am now in Madrid and am going home in September and I am really happy I did it. It changed me. I matured a lot. It was great experience that heleped me to find myself and realise what is important for me and so on. I will keem my fingers crossed for you. If your hostfamily is nice and you have skype to talk with your family and friends that int´s ok. If you have friends there try to be with them as much as you can and talk with them. Talk with them about your problems and feelings. It helps. Really.

ReplyDeleteI really like Mallorca and Palma. I am a bit sad I didn´t find a time to go the the cathedral there and to some Mirador. It must be nice. So I hope I can go there again :)
